Sopra Steria Recruitment has been successful in obtaining finalist status in the 2010 Recruiter Awards, demonstrating the strength of both our client service excellence and internal strategies.

London, 12 March 2010: The Recruiter Awards, hosted by Recruiter Magazine, celebrate the achievement of the UK's finest recruiters acting as a benchmark for exceptional business and individual performance, and rewarding examples of best practice and innovation within the Recruitment sector. The award entries are not restricted to recruitment companies, nor to IT, they include large Corporates and their internal recruitment achievements as well as agency contenders across the entire UK recruitment market. Finalists include BT, Diageo, DWP and Transport for London!

External Recruitment Categories

Best Recruitment Agency to Work For

Awarded to a recruitment, interim or executive search agency operating in any sector that can provide evidence that it provides the most effective work environment, incentives, benefits, training, internal communications and 'best practice' oriented management.

Best Technical Recruitment Agency

Awarded to a recruitment agency operating in sectors such as aerospace, architecture, energy and power (green, oil & gas, nuclear, etc), engineering, environmental services, IT, pharmaceutical and biotechnology, science, and/or railways which provides outstanding service to clients and candidates.

Internal Recruitment Categories

Best Recruitment Team

Awarded to an internal recruitment team to recognise their collective achievement of organisation recruitment goals, development and/or refinement of recruitment strategy, innovation, effective campaigns, working closely with all stakeholders (corporate, line managers, candidates, etc) and impact on their organisation. The winning entry will show quantifiable evidence of the above.

Innovation in Recruitment

Awarded to recognise 'thinking outside the box' that contributed to the success of a recruitment programme. The winning entry may demonstrate innovation in strategy, new internal processes, marketing, use of resources, working with other departments, or any other area in which something new and different made a difference in an internal recruitment team's activity

Most Effective Recruitment Strategy

Awarded to an outstanding example of how an internal recruitment team ahs succeeded in achieving a recruitment goal through reaching specific targets in a highly efficient way. The winning entry will explain in clear language how the strategy was developed and its implementation, along with the strategy's targets and how they were achieved.

The award winners will be announced at the Recruiter Awards for Excellence 2010 ceremony which is taking place on 14 April.
