Intelligent Resource Wins Place on ESPO Framework

London, 6th August 2018: Sopra Steria Recruitment, one of the UK’s leading staffing companies and managed recruitment service providers, is delighted to announce that it has recently been awarded a place on the Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation’s (ESPO) framework to provide Strategic HR Services to local authorities in the region.
With over 30 years’ experience in public sector procurement, ESPO is a customer-focused, not-for-profit, public sector-owned purchasing organisation. It has specialist buying teams with expertise in providing high quality procurement solutions to the public sector on a nationwide basis and is jointly owned by its six members: Leicestershire County Council, Lincolnshire County Council, Cambridgeshire County Council, Norfolk County Council, Warwickshire County Council, and Peterborough City Council.
Under the framework agreement, Sopra Steria Recruitment will provide talent and services across six lots. It has successfully bid to supply commercial contractors, IT contractors, permanent commercial professionals and permanent IT professionals through ESPO. It will also provide assessment and testing services and statutory employment checks through the framework.

The agreement will run to 2020, with the option to extend to 2022.
