Intelligent Resource awarded Place on HSE Framework

London, 17 September 2018: Sopra Steria Recruitment, one of the UK’s leading staffing companies and managed recruitment service providers, is delighted to announce that it has recently been awarded a place on the Health and Safety Executive’s (HSE) flexible workforce solutions framework, through which it will provide IT contractors to the organisation.

The HSE is Britain’s national regulator for workplace health and safety. Sopra Steria Recruitment was awarded its place following a comprehensive procurement exercise across the contract recruitment marketplace which considered key criteria including: service agility, ‘right first time’ delivery, resource channel capability, candidate compliance and cost effectiveness.

Under the framework agreement, Sopra Steria Recruitment will provide talent for roles including software developer, senior data analyst, react web developer and core.net web developer.

Pete Holliday, Managing Director, Sopra Steria Recruitment, commented:  “I am delighted that the HSE has appointed Sopra Steria Recruitment to this key Framework following the evaluation of our capability, track record and legislative compliance. Despite the fact we have provided services to the HSE for five years, this was a competitive tender which required us to devise a ‘best in breed’ solution, encompassing expertise from across the business to meet the client’s expectations for an agile, automated, customer-centric and digital service.

“Success in enabling the HSE to achieve its goals has been created by a substantial team effort across the business and the Sopra Steria enabling functions. My thanks and congratulations go to everyone involved in the tender process and I think I speak for the entire team when I say we look forward to continuing to work in partnership with the HSE for the foreseeable future.”

Dave Hockey, Head of Delivery for HSE’s Science Division commented:  We are looking forward to working with Sopra Steria Recruitment who have been included on our flexible workforce solutions framework after a thorough procurement exercise.  Science, engineering and other specialist skills help underpin the work of HSE and are vital to our role as a proportionate regulator making a positive impact on the working world. The ability to access knowledge and skills through a flexible resourcing arrangement will increase our capability further and form an important part of our resource planning.”
