In the UK there are currently 4.1 million disabled people of working age with jobs, representing an employment rate of 52.6%. However, for people without disabilities this number rises to 81.5%. While some conditions may preclude people from working altogether, this gap suggests that millions of talented individuals are missing out on employment.

So, are current recruitment processes fit for purpose?

In conjunction with Business Disability Forum, Intelligent Resource conducted a piece of research with both employers and candidates to learn more on the barriers to employment for disabled people, and how these could be overcome.
